In fulfilling its role as a labour hire firm, Acutel Consulting considers itself to be a service provider to both the Independent Contractor and the Client Organisation.

Acutel Consulting facilitates the arrangements between the two client groups to ensure a productive and harmonious outcome. Often the Independent Contractor will work in the Client's premises.

At the Independent Contractor’s request, Acutel Consulting is able to make payments for:

The Independent Contractor is not an employee of Acutel Consulting and is not entitled to payment for annual leave, public holidays, sick leave, long service leave, redundancy or any other entitlements afforded to employees either by statute, award or common law.

Independent Contractors are required to familiarise themselves with, and comply with, all of the workplace policies, procedures and guidelines of the Client and Acutel Consulting, as implemented or amended from time to time.

It is essential that Independent Contractors do everything to safeguard the health and safety of themselves and others in the workplace, and be familiar with their responsibilities for health and safety at work.

Independent Contractors must also be aware of their rights and responsibilities in repsect of workplace discrimination, harassment and bullying and must act responsibly in the workplace.
